If you are just after a simple Exmoor walk to clear a bit of tummy space enroute and burn a spud off on the way back then here is one of the best routes, The terrain can be uneven so do not do this route if you have access difficulties.
Park at Barbrook and find the gate as shown on the map below.
Take the 1.1km walk along the West Lyn River to The Cottage Inn, you will pass waterfalls, stunning nature and hopefully spot some wildlife, if you have a pooch, take them along, The Cottage Inn is dog friendly around the bar area.
